Lykan HyperSport 2019, The Most Luxurious Hyper-Car

Lykan HyperSport is first hyper-car produced in the Middle-East indigenously.

Lykan HyperSport is manufactured by W Motors, the United Arab Emirates based company founded in Lebanon in 2012. The car is made by experts from Lebanon, French and Italy from 2013 to 2016 in Beirut. The car was designed by Anthony Jannarelly. It has a 2-door coupe body style, featuring Rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. The engine used in Lykan HyperSport is 3.7L twin-turbocharged flat-six using a transmission of 6-speed sequential manual and 7-speed dual-clutch system. The sports car has a total Kerb weight of 1,380 Kg, being one of the lightest sports cars in the world. The Lykan HyperSport is the first hyper-car produced indigenously in the Middle East. Only 7 units of this car was produced.

HyperSport was succeeded by Fenyr SuperSport. Production of this car started in 2017. Lately, W Motors rolled out the Lycan GiperSport. This car is synonymous to Lykan HyperSport 2018-2019. Not much is yet known about this GiperSport. W Motors planned to create 25 units of Fenyr SuperSport.  As a successor of HyperSport, this car is with a few developments than HyperSport. Still, HyperSport is among the best designed car so far in the world. It features many jaw-dropping aspects including being among the fastest performance cars as well as the costliest cars in the world.

When HyperSport made its debut at the Qatar Motor Show in February 2013, its design became a buzz in sports car industry. This car is so luxurious that its leather interiors feature gold stitching. A $200,000 Cyrus Klepcys Watch was complimentary with this car. Lycan HyperSport uses interactive holographic display. The radio volume can be also adjusted using holographs. The central control column is in fact a hologram, making the car first of its kind. The cabin features load of carbon fiber.  It is the most luxurious hyper-car in the world featuring embedded jewels like rubies, diamond and sapphires in its headlight.

Lykan HyperSport uses an engine developed by Ruf Automobile. It is a 3.7 litre twin-turbocharged flat-six engine. The engine produces a maximum power output of 780 hp at 7,100 rpm and 960 N.m torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is rear mounted transferring power to rear wheels. The car comes with two types of transmission, either a 6-speed sequential manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission run this automobile. MacPherson strut suspension is used in the car on the front axle. At rear axle, multi-link suspension with horizontal coil over shocked absorbers are used. The car has forged aluminum wheels. The front wheel are 19 inches, while the rear wheels are made 20 inches.

Lykan HyperSport is the first sports car to use diamonds, rubies and sapphires in its headlights.

Lykan HyperSport has a top speed of 395 kmph. As claimed, the car can reach 0 to 100 kmph in 2.8 seconds and 0-200 kmph in 9.4 seconds. There is no proper report on exactly how many HyperSports were sold till date. The car came out with a price tag of US$3.4 million as the third most expensive production car in 2013. In June 2015, Abu Dhabi police bought one of the seven units. HyperSport is featured in Hollywood feature movie Furious 7. The car is featured in many video games like Project CARS, Driveclub, Asphalt and many more.
