Versace Home Introduces Flagship Store; Launched In Milan, Italy Inbox
Versace Home‘s official flagship store has opened its doors in Milan. The Versace store has launched in collaboration with Interni Spa, a new boutique that is central in the street of the Italian city. The design of the store reflects the same unique elegance reminiscent to Versace residences, with the new store located very close to the classic Milanese palazzo.
The visually impactful space is designed by Vudafieri Saverino Partners and features Versace’s latest contemporary furniture designs, all created in tandem with Lifestyle Design. The structure of the store resembles that of a real home, including important casa features such as an entrance hall, dining room, long corridors, and a master suite that comprises a bedroom and sitting room.
The interior also opens up to a secret garden, which acts as the perfect link between the outdoors and nature. Gold leaf accents, synonymous with the Versace brand are evident throughout the displays and designs, serving as a backdrop to display bookcases.nThe entirety of the collection displayed is tied together by the gold tones and Greca graphic pattern that permeates through the store space.
Versace is an Italian luxury fashion company and trade name founded by Gianni Versace in 1978. The main collection of the brand is Versace, which produces upmarket Italian-made ready-to-wear and leather accessories. The Glamourous contrasts can be seen in the curtains, where fabrics are replaced with wire mesh panels to allude to the modern, industrial style, while also paying homage to Versace’s fabric explorations.
Versace is planning to further expand its home line and as under this new agreement, Versace is introducing three key designs in the store namely the Venus armchair, the Goddess sofa, and the Stiletto cabinet.
“It was fundamental to avoid a detachment from the Versace maison and to find the best partner that would interpret the codes of the brand and bring forward a category that has been so important for the company for so many years,” said Basso. “The home collection was very important for Gianni Versace and he was a pioneer in the idea of sharing the Versace lifestyle with the world through the way he lived, the bed he slept in, the cup he drank his coffee in.”
