In last five years, the most expensive crown was on different brands, especially those producing the most limited versions. Bugatti, Ferrari and Lamborghini are compared in terms of price as well as speed
Are the fastest cars the most expensive?
In fact, no. The fastest cars are made especially for speed, but when it comes to price, the luxury and state of art factors becomes the most substantial ones. While Rolls Royce has been producing some of most expensive ones, other lesser known brands have surpassed them in terms of power and speed. When speed and price are compared, supercar brands like Bugatti, Ferrari and Lamborghini are up with specialized brands like Koenigsegg, which is also the master in producing the most expensive piece.
Apart from the specialized brands, brands like Bugatti has also being able to ad models into the top ten list of costliest cars. Bugatti has been procuring Super Cars comparable to brands like Lamborghini and Ferrari. A common comparison of these cars is in their speed. Is a Bugatti faster than a Lamborghini? The Buggatti Veyron is a constant model in the top expensive car list. The Mansory Vivere edition of Bugatti Veyron is considered as one of the fastest cars. The first Veyron was released in 2005. By 2018, this version is upgraded four times.
The fastest cars in the world now is Hennessey Venom and Koenigsegg Agera RS. Both of these cars can reach a top speed of 301 miles per hour. Koenigegg, however, had made itself the official fastest car in the world. The car verified its number with the Guinness Book of World Records. This is about the fastest, speed kings have reached. What about the slowest? Do you know what is the slowest car in the world? Interestingly, it is built by Porsche. Named the Ferdinand GT3 RS, this is the lightest and the slowest car in the world. In 2010, it was displayed at a Museum in Austria. It is the slowest because it does not even have an engine. It runs on manual pedaling! The car could be slower than a bicycle. On the other hand, when it comes to expense, there is no proper answer to what is the cheapest car in the world?
As supercars are the costliest ones, sometimes the racing tracks became the location for most expensive car accidents. Such an incident happened in 2011 in Japan. This accident is famously dubbed as the most expensive car accident in history. In this mishap, eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini Diablo, a Nissan GT-R Skyline and three Mercedes Benzes crashed together. The estimated loss in this accident was as much as USD 4 million.
The list of most expensive sports car gets updated every year and the spree of brands producing expensive and special cars is strong. Against this backdrop, an apparent trend is the emergence of new brands along with conversional ones. For instance, Rolls Royce is a legendary carmaker, while Koenigsegg entered the market in less than a decade. But both of them are in competitive edge both in terms of price, power and luxury amenities.
