Mark Wahlberg, The Rock and India’s Khans and Kumar in Forbes’ Top earning celebrity list

Ted’s only friend is now the World’s highest-paid actor in 2017. Mark Wahlberg, the star Hollywood actor is named as the year’s top paid in the industry by Forbes. The annual list of the magazine was released recently, where the actor sored at the zenith. The 46 years old star earned an estimated amount of USD 68 million in the year. The two movies he worked in the year, Daddy’s Home 2 and Transformers: The Last Knight, made the fortune. The earnings are estimated including taxes, management fees from every source like movies as well as TV Commercials.
Next to Wahlberg, ‘The Rock’ Dwayne Johnson raced to the second position in the list with estimated earnings of USD 65 million. Three stars from Bollywood is also in the Top-10 list. Shah Rukh Khan is on 8th, Salman Khan is 9th and Akshay Kumar is on the 10th position. Kumar’s earning this year is USD 35.5 million, Salman Khan has an earning of USD 27 million and Shah Rukh Khan earned USD 38 million in the year. While others made fortune, Johnny Depp was removed from Top 5 in last year’s list. The Pirates of Caribbean actor is now nowhere in the Top-20 list.
A unique trend is apparent in the list of highest paid actors. The difference between male and female actors is high in pay band. The highest paid female actor this year in the list is Emma Stone with an estimated earning to USD 26 million. This is a disparity of almost three times between the top paid male and female star in the industry.
